FINALS & MAKEUP
Most of you are probably getting through a rough finals week at the moment.
TIP: If you feel a little discouraged about walking into that final, take at least 10 minutes to apply some basic essentials—bb cream, blush, mascara, & a little color on your lips. You will feel more confident walking in & trust me, confidence plays a key role in test taking.
Good Luck ;)

The Perfect Mascara!
A very exciting point in a girl’s life is when the perfect mascara is found. I struggled through this journey for many years until I finally found the right one: ShiSeido’s Perfect Mascara Defining Volume in Black. The title says it all—it is perfect! I have very stubborn lashes that do not lift, even with routine curling and tons of mascara, until I tried this one. Of course, they do not come out to perfection unless I use an eyelash curler to prep (also a ShiSeido product).
The mascara comes in brown too.
CAUTION1: ShiSeido has two mascaras; one is “defining volume” and the other is “full definition”. I have also tried full definition, but that one only elongates my lashes without giving me the lift I want. The defining volume mascara makes my lashes stay lifted and curled for hours (even overnight) and also gives them length. I recommend DEFINING VOLUME.
CAUTION2: This mascara is very waterproof, although it does not specify that it is. For that reason, be very gentile when you remove. Use makeup wipes dipped in makeup remover liquid to make this easier. Don’t use your fingers to remove. This will pull your lashes off!

Elf has the studio face primers In different colors. Green, purple and a cream and a basic clear. What does each color do for your skin? How will I know which one is right for my skin?
Green is red correcting so if you have a naturally red face, acne scars, acne, rosacea, etc it will help correct the red so when you go over with foundation the red won’t show through.
Purple is brightening so those with dry or dull skin would usually go for purple primers. Purple will also help balance out overly yellow skin tones if you want to look more neutral and less yellow.
Cream is most likely yellow or just tinted so you can use it to even out your skin tone to use alone or use it a little extra coverage.
Clear is just universal so anyone can use it!
I have the clear one which I love and i’m wearing right now. It makes my skin feel super smooth and helps makeup go on flawless! A GREAT affordable primer!
